Creating your first feed

In order to create a feed, you will first need to create or have a team. Feeds are specific to a team.

Create your feed

  1. Click on your user icon on the sidebar.
  2. Click +New Team Feed.
  3. Enter the title of your new feed and click Create
  4. You will be directed to the Manage Feeds page. To add a description to your feed, select the General tab. 
  5. Provide a short description, purpose, or any additional information about your new feed.
  6. Click Save.

Add your Feed Participants

  1. On the Manage Feeds page, select your feed and click the Edit feedParticipants tab. 
  2. Click on the Add feed participants icon.
  3. If your feed participant is already registered on Status, enter their name or username. 
  4. If your feed participant is not yet registered on Status, enter their email address.
  5. To finish adding the participant to your feed, you need to set their feed permissions by:
    • Checking Update if you want to allow them to post updates on the feed and comment on their updates. They will only be able to view their own updates.
    • Checking View if you only want them to be able to view feed activity and have permission to comment on posted updates. 
    • Checking both Update and View to allow them to view all activity on your feed, post updates, and comment on any update.
  6. Click Add.

Add Multiple Feed Participants

You can also add more than three members at once. 

  1. Select the Participants tab. 
  2. Click on the Add feed participants icon.
  3. Click the Want to add many people at once? link. 
  4. Enter all your team members' email addresses separated by commas. 
  5. Click Add.
